Campus Visit Guidelines and Information

Thank you for your interest in visiting Texas A&M University! Please review the following guidelines regarding campus visits.

  • Prospective visitors should verify that all information is correct before submitting reservation.
  • If you will be unable to attend your campus visit, please cancel your reservation using the link provided in your confirmation email. Visitors may cancel visits at any time.
  • Campus visitor parking information is located in your visit confirmation email. Please review it before coming to campus. Additional parking information is located at
  • Reservation changes may be requested by calling the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center or by emailing However, please note that not all visit options can be changed, especially on short notice.
  • Visit options may be limited when classes are not in session, because of severe weather or other campus events.
  • Visitors should plan ahead by checking the College Station weather forecast before leaving home to ensure you are prepared for the weather. A bottle of water and comfortable walking shoes are recommended year round.
  • If you are late for your campus visit, we will make every effort to accommodate you, however, some appointments may not be able to be rescheduled.

Academic Appointment

Meet with faculty or advisors from one of our 16 academic schools and colleges to learn about majors and our world-class academic programs. Note: Academic appointments are limited when classes are not in session and during summer months..

Campus Walking Tour

Journey through main campus on our 60-minute campus walking tour, which is the heart of every campus visit. You will receive an overview of academics, history, traditions, athletics and campus life at Texas A&M. All tours are led by current students and begin at the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center located in Rudder Tower. Please note that tours may be cancelled or moved indoors due to weather conditions.

Prospective Student Session

An overview of the application process for students in 8th -12th grades who have not already applied to and/or been admitted to the University. Some information about student life and financial aid and scholarships is also presented by admissions representatives.

Residence Hall Tour

Visit four of our most popular residence hall building styles during this 45 minute tour, which begins at the newest residence hall on campus, Hullabaloo Hall.

Corps of Cadets Session

Meet with a member of the Corps of Cadets staff and learn about the most famous student organization on campus.
