Aggie Experience Council

Mission

The Aggie Experience Council is dedicated to sharing the Aggie experience and telling the Texas A&M story. Our mission is to provide university guests with the highest quality campus experience, and it is inseparable from our mission to inform others about the excellent academics, vibrant student life, outstanding intercollegiate athletics program, rich history, and time-honored traditions of Texas A&M. It welcomes and seeks to serve persons of all racial, ethnic, and geographic groups and helps to create an unparalleled Aggieland experience for everyone who visits our campus.  

Services

Aggie Experience Council members provide the following services to the campus and community:

  • Greet and provide information to campus visitors.
  • Lead campus walking tours for prospective students and their families, former students, and other university guests.
  • Participate in panel discussions about college life.
  • Serve as hosts for special university events.

Members

Members of the Aggie Experience Council are from diverse academic, cultural, and geographic backgrounds and are considered to be among Texas A&M’s premier student representatives. They have been selected because they are leaders that exemplify excellence, selfless service, and the Aggie Spirit. Through their leadership and service, AEC members bridge past, present, and future Aggies and are entrusted to continue the legacy and culture of greatness that set Aggies apart from all others. 

Application Process

Applications are currently being accepted. The selection process includes an application review, shadowing a tour, audition, and interview. Applicants must be currently enrolled at Texas A&M and be in good standing with the university. Please email completed applications to aec@tamu.edu
