Prospective Students

We are as excited as you are about your choice to attend Texas A&M University, and will do all that we can to make your visit to Aggieland a memorable and helpful experience. The Prospective Student Center offers admissions counseling sessions on a daily basis (Monday - Friday). These sessions are held in a group setting and an admissions counselor will cover the application process as well as honors, financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Attendance is highly recommended for students who have not yet applied to Texas A&M.

To help us customize a schedule to meet your specific needs, please call the Visitor Center at (979) 845-5851 or fill out the online registration form at least two weeks prior to your visit for assistance with scheduling appointments with admissions, the Corps of Cadets, Honors and Academic Scholarships, Financial Aid, or a tour of a residence hall. While it is possible to arrange a visit on short notice, we strongly recommend planning ahead so that we can accomodate your campus visit needs.

  • If you are planning to visit within the next 48 hours, please contact our office at (979) 845-5851 to set-up a schedule.

Group Tours

We invite groups of 15 or more to call ahead to schedule a private guided tour of campus. In addition to the walking tour of campus, we can help arrange specialized tours of Kyle Field, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, the Student Recreation Center and many other campus facilities and attractions. We can also arrange group tour visits with admissions counselors and other helpful people for groups of prospective students, and will be glad to provide visiting tour buses with a step-on guide.
