The University of North Texas Press
is a member of the Texas A&M University 
Press Consortium.  UNT Press was established in 
1988. It has a backlist of more than 200
titles, including the long-standing Publications 
of the Texas Folklore Society series.  
 

UNT Press is presently producing 16 to 20 new books 
annually,in the fields of Texana, folklore, contemporary 
and social issues, general-interest nonfiction, guides, 
history, military studies, poetry, women's issues, writing 
and publishing, and critical biographies of Texas writers.
