Miguel González Quiroga currently serves as a legislator to the state of Nuevo León, Mexico. After his term of office expires, he will return to teach at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey Mexico.

Sam Haynes is a historian specializing in early nineteenth century United States history. He is Associate Professor of History at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Robert W. Johannsen is widely published in the area of nineteenth century United States history. He is J.G. Randall Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Douglas W. Richmond is a historian of Mexico and Latin America. He is Professor of History at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Mitchel Roth is a historian who has two major areas of interest-- the Western United States and the history of crime and punishment. He is Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.

Richard Bruce Winders serves as Curator at the Alamo in San Antonio, and is a specialist in military aspects of the United States-Mexico war.

Josefina Zoraida Vázquez is widely recognized as a major authority on United States-Mexican relations. She is Professor of History at El Colegio de México in Mexico City.
