AWARD WINNERS
Bound in Twine by Sterling Evans has received the 2007 Theodore Saloutos Memorial Award for the best book on agricultural history from the Agricultural History Society.
Evans analyzes the international dependencies among Canada, the U.S., and Mexico created by the growth, manufacturing, and use of binder twine between 1880 and 1950, or what he terms the henequen-wheat complex.
Patsy Light was notified that she has won the Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Architecture through the Media in Honor of John G. Flowers Honorary AIA for her work on Capturing Nature.
The award is given by the Texas Society of Architects and will be presented during the 69th Annual TSA Convention October 23-25 in Forth Worth.
