Don't get blocked out of MyRecord or Neo

If you have recently received a notification about completing the Security Awareness Training (securityu.tamu.edu) please complete the training as soon as possible. Otherwise, access to neo.tamu.edu and your myrecord.tamu.edu accounts could be impacted.

Are you using some peer-to-peer software (such as those listed on the Infosec website), on your ResNet PC?

Well, you should know that a problem we have recently noticed is a LARGE number copyright enforcement organizations reporting possible copyright violations for a number of companies (such as the RIAA) that identify copyrighted files on ResNet systems. If a ResNet connection is identified with a copyrighted file, the condition is reported to Student Conduct Services. We strongly suggest that the you disable the Filesharing functions on these peer-to-peer clients.
