Public Policy Internship Program
The Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program (PPIP) was established in 1999 by Dr. Ray
Bowen, then President of Texas A&M University, to respond to society's increasing interest and
participation in public policy issues and programs. It is coordinated from the Associate Provost's
office to work centrally with various colleges and departments to create the interdisciplinary
environment necessary for comprehensive academic training and policy programming. The focus of PPIP is
to provide integrated academic, research, and policy-related programs for the campus and community.
