Anthony J. Best serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of St. Mary Land and Expedition Company.
Mr. Best was previously President and CEO of Pure Resources, a Unocal Company, from February 2003, until
his retirement in October 2005, when Chevron acquired Unocal. Before joining Pure Resources, Mr. Best
established a consulting practice offering leadership and oil and gas consultation to startup companies
and volunteer organizations. Mr. Best has been in the oil industry/energy business for over 26 years,
including 21 years with ARCO. During his time with ARCO, he progressed through numerous Managerial
positions, advancing to Vice President of External Affairs for ARCO Alaska, President of ARCO Permian
in Midland, Texas, and President of ARCO Latin America in Caracas, Venezuela. Mr. Best currently serves
as a board member for the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum, Texas Oil and Gas Association, Independent
Producers Association of America, and he is the new President of the Corps of Cadets Association at
Texas A&M University. He is also on the Executive Committee for the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association
as well as the Advisory Council for the Mechanical Engineering department at Texas A&M. Mr. Best earned
a Master's of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Alaska and a Bachelor's of Science
in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Bill Carter is a Certified Financial Planner and President of Carter Financial Management (CFM). In 1969, Mr. Carter
received a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, where he was a Distinguished Military
Graduate and served as Student Body President. In 2000, Mr. Carter was presented with Texas A&M University's top honor,
the Distinguished Alumni Award, the first in his class to receive this honor. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of
the 12th Man Foundation, and he recently served on the Advisory
Council to former Texas A&M President, Dr. Robert M. Gates.
Mr. Carter was the Past President of the Dallas A&M Club, Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M
University Foundation, and a former member of the Texas A&M University System Investment Advisory Committee.
Mr. Carter serves on the Advisory Council to the Cadet Center for Leadership Excellence and the Presidential
Board of Visitors for the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University. In 2003, Mr. Carter was awarded the prestigious
Jimmy Williams Distinguished Service Award by the Dallas A&M Club for his lifelong service to the Dallas A&M
Club and Texas A&M University.

Dave Elmendorf is a Houstonian that graduated from Westbury High School. He completed his college studies at Texas A&M
University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1971 with a B.S. in Economics. Selected in both the baseball and football
drafts, Dave chose the L.A. Rams over the New York Yankees. He spent nine years as the Rams' strong safety, never missing a start,
and finished an All-Pro career in the Super Bowl in 1980. His career after football has included the development and management of an
upscale health club and a very successful sports bar and restaurant. From 1987 through 1995, Dave worked as a general manager for American
Golf Corporation, the world's largest golf course management firm. He then became the Director of Golf for Dolce International, which included operational
responsibility for the Dolce golf properties and acquisition of new golf facilities as part of an aggressive growth plan. He is currently Executive Director of Operations
for the William Charles Group, a professional golf services and development company. Dave is also the color commentator on the A&M Radio Network,
broadcasting all Aggie football games on a 60+ station network. In 1996, he was named to the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame and in 1997,
Dave was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame at a ceremony in New York. He and his wife, Mamie, live on a farm near Bryan.

Jarrell Gibbs retired as President of TXU Corp., having served for 22 years in various executive positions including Vice
Chairman and President of TXU Corp., President of TXU Electric and TXU Business Services, Chief Financial Officer of TXU Corp.,
and Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Texas Electric Service Division of TXU Electric. Prior to
joining TXU, he served for over 20 years in the U.S. Army, during which time he commanded units on three continents,
was an artillery battalion commander in the First Cavalry Division and served two tours in Viet Nam. His last
assignment was with the Army General Staff in the Pentagon. Mr. Gibbs is currently active in private investments.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M Research Foundation and York College, as well as a member of the
Board of Directors of TenX Technologies, a private corporation. He serves as chairman for the Aggie Spirit
Development Council in Texas A&M University's "One Spirit One Vision" one billion dollar capital campaign, and is
a member of the Board of Visitors for the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, the Advisory Council for the Texas A&M
Health Science Center College of Medicine Leadership Council, the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Leadership Council
and the Corps Development Council. Mr. Gibbs holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Finance and
a Master's degree in Management and Administration from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business
School Advanced Management Program and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. In October 1999, he was
honored as an Outstanding Alumni — Mays Business School.

Celia Goode-Haddock is a prominent businesswoman in Bryan-College Station and a strong supporter of Texas A&M University.
She is a native of Bryan-College Station, and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972. She is President and
majority stockholder of University Title Company and is active in many civic and professional organizations. Ms.
Goode-Haddock also serves on the Real Estate Research Center Advisory Board appointed by former Governor Bush
and is past Chairman of the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce. She is an alumnus of Leadership Brazos,
Leadership Texas and Leadership America. She was the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the
Year for 2001.

Randolph W. House graduated from Texas A&M University in 1968 as a Distinguished Military Graduate. He received
his Master's Degree from Clemson University. His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course,
U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the National War College. General House has commanded at every
level of command from an infantry platoon in the 82nd Airborne Division through Deputy Commander in Chief of the
U.S. Pacific Command. In addition, he had five joint assignments where he worked closely with all our services
and other governmental agencies. In July 1990, General House assumed command of the 2nd Brigade, 1st Cavalry
Division and commanded the brigade in southwest Asia during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Lieutenant General House retired in December 2000 after almost 33 years of service. General House's awards and
decorations include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters); Distinguished Service
Medal; Silver Star; Defense Superior Service Medal; Legion of Merit (with two Oak Leaf Clusters); Distinguished
Flying Cross (with three Oak Leaf Clusters); Soldier's Medal; Bronze Star Medal (with an Oak Leaf Cluster);
Meritorious Service Medal (with three Oak Leaf Clusters); 32 Air Medals; Army Commendation Medal (with an Oak
Leaf Cluster); Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry (with two Silver Stars and two Bronze Stars); Southwest Asia
Service Medal (with three Bronze Stars); Humanitarian Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Kuwaiti
Liberation Medal; Combat Infantryman Badge; Parachutist's Badge; Ranger Tab; Army Staff Identification Badge;
Joint Chiefs of Staff Badge; and the Office of the Secretary of Defense Badge. In September 2005, he was inducted
into the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor. Lieutenant General House and his wife, Jeanie,
reside in College Station, Texas, where he operates the family ranch. He also is a much sought after consultant,
using his skills learned in the military to advise such clients as the George Bush School of Government and
Public Service and other non-Department of Defense companies in a strategic planning role. He is an active speaker
in the areas of leadership, management, and national security and is a member of various advisory councils at
Texas A&M University.

Dr. Nora Janjan is Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston,
Texas. She is Past President and Chair of the Board of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and
Oncology. Dr. Janjan is an active participant in many national committees on the treatment of cancer such as:
Chair — Working Group on Palliative Care, End of Life Care and Pain Relief, and National Cancer Institute and National
Institute on Aging; Member — American Society for Clinical Oncology, Cancer Education Committee for Optimizing
Cancer Care, and American Society for Clinical Oncology Guidelines on the Use of Biophosphonates in Breast Cancer.
Dr. Janjan is a 1975 graduate of the University of Arizona and a 1979 graduate of the University of Arizona
College of Medicine. She has completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Radiation Oncology. Both of these
residencies were completed at the Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to being one of the world's premier
radiologic oncologists, Dr. Janjan is a distinguished researcher who has produced more than 100 peer-reviewed
publications.
Dr. Janjan has received many honors including: Fellow—American College of Physicians, Outstanding
Teacher Award—Department of General Surgical Oncology, Fellow—American College of Radiology, and listed in "Best
Doctors in America."

A. Dwain Mayfield retired as a vice president at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company developing leading marketing initiatives. As a member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
management team, Mayfield served as a senior advisor for all LM Aero fighter and transport business development initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University, and holds a Master's
degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He is a member of the National Air Force
Association and the Fort Worth Air Power Council.

Frank M. Muller, Jr. is Chairman and CEO of TenX Technology. After graduating from Texas A&M University in
1965, Mr. Muller was commissioned in the U.S. Army. He is a decorated Vietnam War veteran (Silver Star with
two oak leaf clusters). He returned to Texas A&M University to earn an MBA. He is on the College of Liberal
Arts Development Council, the Corps of Cadets Development Council, the Texas A&M Foundation Development Advisory
Committee, the Texas A&M Research Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Center for International Business
Studies Advisory Council. In recognition of his service to the University he was named Distinguished Alumnus
in 1992 and a member of the Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor in 2001. Mr. Muller currently serves as the Chairman
of the PERC Board of Directors.

George Peterkin, Jr. is a retired Chairman of the Board and past president of the Kirby Corporation,
one of the largest inland waterway shipping companies in the United States. He is a 1948 graduate of the
University of Texas at Austin and has been a supporter of several academic institutions in Texas. He serves
on the Boards of both Texas Children's Hospital and The Texas Medical Center in Houston. Mr. Peterkin has been
closely associated with Texas A&M University for many years and is responsible for endowing two Texas A&M
University professorships—the Jeff Montgomery Professorship and the Kirby Distinguished Visiting Professorship.

Douglas R. DeCluitt is Chairman of the Board and President of The Sovereign Corporation, a company that develops and
manages apartment complexes in Texas and New Mexico. He is also Chairman of the Board and President of the
Heritage Energy Corporation, an oil and gas operating company. Mr. DeCluitt is a former Texas A&M University
Regent. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1957 and his MBA from
Harvard University in 1962.

Henry Gilchrist received his Civil Engineering degree in 1948 from Texas A&M University and his LL.B. in 1950
from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Gilchrist is a member of the Development Council for the George
Bush School of Government and Public Service, has served on the executive board of the Southern Methodist
University School of Engineering, and is a Trustee Emeritus of the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation.
His distinguished legal career of over 50 years includes membership in the American, Texas State, and Dallas
Bar Associations as well as twenty years on the list of Best Lawyers in America.

H. Pearson Knolle, Jr. is the owner and president of Sandia Agricultural Enterprises, Inc., in Sandia, Texas, a 1200
acre ranch and international agriculture consulting business. In 1976, the Knolle family was honored by Texas
A&M University as "Centennial Leaders for Outstanding Contributions to Texas Agriculture During the Century of
Change." Mr. Knolle is a graduate of Texas Tech University although he completed his first two years of
undergraduate work here at Texas A&M University. He has a son and daughter, both of whom are graduates of
Texas A&M University. His eldest daughter helps manage the Sandia ranch.

Carroll W. Phillips is a retired Vice Chairman of Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. A 1954 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA,
he was named outstanding alumnus of the College of Business in 1994. He serves as a trustee of the Texas A&M
Foundation and as a member of the Mays School of Business Development Council. He is also the Past President of
the Texas Society of Certified Professional Accountants. Mr. Phillips is active in Houston civic and religious
organizations.

Robert G. Wallace retired on October 31, 1988, as Executive Vice President of Phillips Petroleum Company.
He was responsible for Phillips' downstream businesses, petroleum products and chemicals, and was also
President of Phillips 66 Company. Wallace began his Phillips career in 1954, and over the years, worked
in the company's research and development, international sales and development, and chemicals and plastics
operations. During this time, he spent a number of years in the Far East. Currently, Wallace is a member
of the Board of Directors of CBI Industries, Inc., Valmont Industries, Inc., and A. Schulman, Inc. He
serves as a consultant to ChemShare Corporation and to International Business Machines Corporation. He
is a member of the American Petroleum Institute, the 25-Year Club of the Petroleum Industry, the Society of
Chemical Industry, the Texas A&M University Business Administration Development Council and the Texas A&M
Engineering Development Council. He is a registered professional engineer. In 1950, Wallace graduated from
Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He also attended the Harvard Business
School Advanced Management Program.
