Corps Arches
Symbolizing the spirit of the 12th Man, the Corps Arches serve as the entry point to the Corps of Cadets Quadrangle or "quad." The quad is the home of the Corps with residence halls housing every cadet and Duncan Dining Hall feeding the Corps.
Part of Texas A&M since 1876, with the mission of "training leaders of character and competence for service to nation and state,” Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets is the largest uniformed student body apart from the national service academies. Although membership carries no military obligation, the Corps is also responsible for commissioning more officers into the U.S. military than any school other than the academies. The Corps includes the largest military marching band in the United States with approximately 375 members.
