Angela Pulley Hudson received her Ph.D. in American Studies from Yale University in 2007.  Her research and teaching areas include: American Indian histories, particularly relating to the U.S. South, intersections between American Indian and African American cultures, and the social and cultural processes of place-making among communities in North America.
