Felipe Hinojosa received his PhD in History from the University of Houston in 2009. He has teaching and research interests that include Latina/o-Chicana/o studies, American Religion, comparative race & ethnicity, and social movements. He has been the recipient of numerous fellowships, and most recently was awarded a 2008-2009 dissertation fellowship from the Hispanic Theological Initiative. He holds a B.A. in English (1999) from Fresno Pacific University and an M.A. in History from the University of Texas Pan American.
