Dr. Chambers is an Assistant Professor of History with teaching and research interests in the African Diaspora, particularly in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States South.  His current research project focuses on the migration of British West Indian banana workers to Honduras during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and its impact on the formation of Honduran national identity.
