Freshman Lunch

Class of 2012 and their families are invited to attend Freshman Convocation Lunch on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Sbisa Dining Center. Service will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. University representatives will be on-hand for informal conversation with new students and their families.

Tickets for Freshman Convocation Lunch are $8.00 and may be purchased online or in person at the MSC Box Office, and on the day of Freshman Convocation (August 24) at the Reed Arena Box Office. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but to avoid lines advance purchase is suggested. Students and families are encouraged to park at Reed Arena and take a Freshman Convocation shuttle bus to Sbisa Dining Center and then back to Reed Arena for Freshman Convocation. Shuttle busses will run continuously between Reed Arena and Sbisa Dining Center from 10:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Freshman Convocation Lunch is the last informal program in the University's Week of Welcome, http://studentlife.tamu.edu/nsp/gew, and will provide an opportunity for freshmen and their families to celebrate their entry into the Texas A&M Community of Learners. Students and their families will join university faculty and staff for food and conversation in advance of Freshman Convocation.
