ho]use of Wm Hincheloe, for the purpose of declaring our sentiments, in
relation to an affair now existing between Coln Bradburn, Commander of
the Mexican troops at Anahuac and a part of the citizens of Austin's Colony.
1st That we are unwilling to engage in any contest that would appear to be in opposition to the Government in the least, and that this affair will be against theGeneral Government, we have many fears. and 2nd That we are willing to be governed by the laws and Constitution of the General Government, as far as we are capable of judging, and we hope his Excellency, will find us true to the same at all times.
