- Aggie ALLIES
This is a TAMU organization that includes faculty, staff, and students who display an Ally placard outside their offices or residence hall rooms. This sign identifies them as individuals who are willing to provide a safe haven, a listening ear, and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people or anyone dealing with sexual orientation issues.
- Allen Foundation Inc.
Established in 1975 by agricultural chemist William Webster Allen, this Michigan-based foundation makes grants to projects that benefit human nutrition in the areas of education,
training, and research. Visitors to the web site will find a brief biography of Mr. Allen, a listing of the foundation's board of trustees, and online application procedures with an eligibiliy quiz. Visitors can also access the
foundation's annual reports for the last six years.
- Brazos County Historical Commision This committee serves at the pleasure of the Brazos County Judge and Commissioners Court, Brazos County, Texas.
- Electronic Information Study Group-Final Report This committee was appointed in the fall of 1994 to "explore the
issues of electronic news groups at Texas A&M University." Its charge was later
expanded to include other forms of communication on the Internet. This report summarizes its findings and determinations.
- Matthew Gaines Memorial Matthew Gaines was a former slave, community leader, minister, Republican State
Senator and courageous leader in the 12th Texas Legislature, which established free public
education in the State of
Texas and enabled the founding in 1871 of The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.
