This track provides theory-based education
and practical experience for students interested in working
in outdoor educational settings. Emphasis is placed on the
use of outdoor resources, adventure activities and interdisciplinary
programming as opportunities for "whole-person" learning.
The graduate of this track will be versed in technical outdoor
skills, interdisciplinary program planning, group dynamics,
risk management and the experiential learning model. A semester
internship provides students with on-the-job experience after
they have completed course work.
