102. Critical Issues in Agricultural Leadership and Education. (1-0). Credit 1. I, II

An identification of the roles of agricultural leadership and education and their relationship to the broader fields of agriculture and life sciences; concepts essential to understanding issues critical to the future of agriculture.

285. Directed Studies. Credit 1 to 4.

Directed study of selected issue in field of agricultural or leadership education with emphasis on collection, synthesis and interpretation of information. Prerequisite: Approval of department head.

301. Topics in Agricultural Leadership and Education. (1-2). Credit 2. I, II

Topics in education and leadership dimensions of agriculture, food and fiber systems, and natural resources; development of aims and functions of agricultural leaders and educators. Prerequisite: AGED 102.

380. Workshop in Agricultural Education. Credit 1 to 4.

The study, understanding and solution of human-agricultural problems based on theory learned in the classroom, library, laboratory and fieldwork completed by individuals and teams. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification or approval of instructor.

Directed individual study of selected problem in field of agricultural or extension education with emphasis on collection, analysis and presentation of information. Prerequisite: Approval of department head.
